TBH
photography was started 2 years ago by two best friends, Jennifer
Romberger (photo-left) and Kellie Moats (photo-right). The name
of the company, Together By Heart comes from our saying "Miles
Apart Together By Heart". It also reflects the 10 years of
friendship that we have shared across the miles between Pennsylvania
(Jennifer) and Massachusetts (Kellie).
We are both married and the mother of 2 children.
Our children were the inspiration that brought us into photography,
and starting this business is really a dream come true!

I am a self taught photographer who has always enjoyed taking photos.
I have taken some photography classes and will continue to pursue
my education as I move forward in my career as a photographer.
My interest began in taking scenic photos, working
to capture a romantic beach picture with the moon shining on the
water…..or a pretty sunset with an orange and pink sky.
Then I had children, and I have never taken so many
photos of the same thing in my life. Kellie was sending me photos
of her children and she was telling me about this really great camera
she was using. So we went up to visit them when they were living
in Maine and I fell in love with this camera (Canon Rebel XT). All
of a sudden, I wanted to take photos of everything and everyone.
Black and white pictures became my passion and focal point. I believe
that the black and white photography provides an entirely different
mood to any event; it provides a classic feel that lasts for all
time. My walls and shelves are covered with black and white pictures
of my family.
I get just as excited to take photos of other children
and families as I do my own. I have always felt the urge to do something
artistic, and photography has filled that role in my life. Having
the chance to give people everlasting images of their family and
friends is a very gratifying feeling.

I am a self taught Photographer. With my desire to
learn different techniques and skills I have taken classes along
the way and will continue to further my education in photography.
I started photographing my oldest daughter and loved
everything about it! I was always paying attention to how I captured
a shot and figuring out how to do it again. We had our second daughter
and I knew photography is what I wanted to do. I love photographing
the little hands, toes and feet. I found myself wanting to do photography
for other people and loving the response I was getting from my family
and friends.
For me, the most rewarding feeling to hear someone
"oohh and ahhh" over a portrait that I have taken!
